Welcome To Monmouth
Monmouth is a Welsh border market town situated at the confluence of the Rivers
Wye, Monnow and Trothy. With its bustling main street it makes a great
destination for a holiday or a day out!
A Living History
Perhaps best known as the birthplace of Henry V, Monmouth boasts a whole host of
historical sites, people and buildings from the Nelson Garden to The Town Hall.
It has a medieval 13th-century bridge over the river Monnow, unique in Britain
as it is the only preserved bridge of its design remaining.
The Monmouth Website
The Monmouth Website has long been the people’s choice of
information resource for the town of Monmouth and Monmouthshire, providing a
huge cross section of information relating to the town.
Approaching our tenth year online
the site has seen millions of visitors come and go and has been consistently
ranked highly by Google and other search engines. The site is run by volunteers
who work tirelessly to provide Monmouth with a web presence it can be proud of.
We hope you enjoy your visit!
