Walking In Monmouthshire
A pleasant circular walk through woods and farmland with lovely views over Monmouth
and to the Black Mountains. Approximately 5 1/2 miles, 3 1/2 hours.
Two walks around the pretty Mitchel Troy. Walk one: 5 miles approximately 3 ½ hours.
Walk two: 3 ½ miles approximately 2 hours.
A leisurely walk around Monmouth town, taking in some of the manyplaces of historical
interest on offer.
Crossing the boarder between England and Wales more than ten times in its 293km
(182 miles), the Offa's Dyke Path passes through some of the most attractive landscape
that either country has to offa!
The walk is suitable for moderately fit walkers but involves some uphill sections.
Allow about 3 hours for the full circuit.
